Start your journey by discovering the most iconic locations in the Sacred Valley, visiting archaeological sites and local markets. Afterward, enjoy a stunning train ride to Aguas Calientes where you’ll spend the night. The following morning, ascend to Machu Picchu for a guided tour and free time before returning to Cusco by train and private transport.
Your adventure begins with a guided tour through the Sacred Valley. You will visit the Pisac archaeological complex, famous for its impressive terraces and panoramic views, followed by a stop at the Pisac market to experience local crafts and culture. The journey continues to Urubamba, where you will have free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, explore the Ollantaytambo fortress, an extraordinary example of Inca engineering. After the tour, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, traveling through spectacular landscapes. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the town or visit the hot springs.
The next morning, you will take the bus to Machu Picchu for a professionally guided exploration of the citadel. Discover its temples, terraces, plazas, and breathtaking viewpoints. After free time to explore at your own pace, return to Aguas Calientes and later board the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy. A private transfer will take you to your hotel in Cusco, marking the end of your two-day journey.
