    04:00–04:30 AM | Pick-Up from Your Hotel (Cusco)

    Our team gathers you directly from your accommodation. You’ll start the journey before sunrise while the city sleeps.

    Drive to Mollepata & Breakfast

    After a 2-hour drive through the early morning Andes, we arrive in Mollepata for a freshly prepared breakfast. Hot tea, bread, eggs—fuel for the climb ahead.

    Continue to Soraypampa Trailhead

    We continue driving toward the Soraypampa highlands (3,900 m / 12,795 ft). You’ll see glaciers, vast valleys, and the famous Salkantay mountain dominating the horizon.

    Start of the Hike

    Your guide leads the way on a gradual but steady ascent. The trail winds along open mountain terrain, offering panoramic views the whole way.

    Reach Humantay Lake

    After about 1.5–2 hours of hiking, the prize appears: Humantay Lake glittering beneath the glacier.
